The 'n' Sound

How to make this sound:

Video Text:

The nn sound.  This sound is made from pressing the front top part of your tongue, here, against your hard palate, the roof of your mouth.  Nn, nn.  It's just behind where the teeth are but it's not acutally touching the teeth.  Nn, nn.  And raising the tongue to the roof of the mouth forces the sound into this part of the face so that it acutally feels like the sound comes from here.  Nn, nn.  Sample words:  can, nice.  Sample sentence:  Nancy is never late for dinner.

International Phonetic Alphabet symbol:  []
