Video Text:

A comb. A fine-tooth comb.

Have you ever heard an idiom to go over something with a fine-tooth comb?

So this is a comb, this is a pick, This is a brush.

Notice here, these are so close together. If you go over something with a fine-tooth comb, that means you look at all of the details to make sure they are perfect.

I used it like this: I’m working with a video editor. He made some edits and I

wasn’t sure, should I just give him the big obvious things to change first?

Or should I tell him every little detail to change? Should I go over that video with a fine-tooth comb?
