“What do you do?” is a common question asked in the US after you’ve met somebody. You guys did a great job. I got over 50 responses. You nailed it! I loved hearing about what everybody does all over the world.
Thank you to those who also answered my question about common questions people ask in your country when you’ve just met. It was very interesting. I learned that in some countries, one of the first questions you ask somebody is, “How old are you?” And just so you know, that question would not be ok in the US. It’s considered pretty rude. We are terrified of aging in the US, so, we don’t like to talk about it.
